Title : Divergent
Author : Veronica Roth
I can say that this is one of the greatest book that I've ever read. The book was published since last year, but then I haven't paid much attention to it at that time. But all of a sudden, I've read that its one of the favorite books voted on Goodreads and it is also optioned to be a movie. By that I've been curious at this story.
I've read the synopsis and it definitely amaze me on how the author created another dystopian story with full of uniqueness! It was so good!
On a dystopian novel like this, I can definitely say that I am deeply impressed of all the action packed parts of the story. And another one, I'm totally in love with Four! ha! Tris is one bravest character that I've ever read.
It will make you realize your deepest fears. And overcoming it of course. Well for me,it feels like that.
Title : Free Four -Tobias tells the story-
On this 13 page story, I will tell you this is not just an ordinary short story that readers will easily forget. Its from the point of view of Four! Isn't that great?!?!?!
This privilege was given to Divergent fans (like me) to get to know more on what's going on inside the mind of a guy that has only Four fears that fell in love with Tris. :)
I've read it , even though I haven't finished Divergent at that time ,but i was so excited when it was released. And I can say that the author made a short story from a man that has a deep dark past that every reader will be curious on what will happen on the second book.
The second book of the Benedict brothers. When I saw the cover, I just said to myself that "wow, That Phoenix is totally dazzling!" I mean how can anyone will not be attracted on the cover! Oh, and another one, it says "catch a thief and lose your heart'"
Then I was like, "another great book that will make my day so goood!"
It's about Yves. Yves. By the way I imagine it, he is a serious yet crazy guy that all girls can fall head over heels with.
Joss Stirling just made it more fantastic. I mean while I was reading the book, it totally creates another world, like the community of Phoenix. It was all great. Most specially she created a unique way for the soul finder to meet each other. It is my favorite part of the book. How Yves found out that Phoenix is his soul finder. Oh, and Yves is so romantic that I wanted him to come out of the book. Hahaha! Silly me!!
But really I find it very fantastic to learn more about the savants and their new abilities. I would do everything and anything just to be a savant.
Most especially, the action-packed scenes never failed to amaze me. I can totally imagine the Savant Net and Benedict's make or move their ways when I read it. (too much imagination) but yeah, I totally loved it!
Title : Dream Dark (Caster Chronicles 2.5)
Author : Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
The spotlight is on Link! Remember he became half-incubus right? Half-breed.ha! It tells how Link change physically and emotionally. Physically, he is masculine than ever. Emotionally, he feels that it's all different all at once, that he is not somehow himself anymore. Well that's what I think.
Macon tells more about Incubus. How they feed themselves. Even though it's just a short story, still it has full of action.
Title : Beautiful Chaos (Book 3 of Caster Chronicles)
Author : Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
The sequel of the Beautiful Darkness. New revelations and mysteries! I wonder how it will all end? Here's how it goes, after the Seventeen Moon of Lena that will claim her if she will be Dark or Light Caster, things seems to be weird on Gatlin. Strange weather and catastrophe keeps on happening to them. A total chaos indeed!
On this new sequel, it makes me want more and more to know about the Eighteenth Moon. Stohl and Garcia definitely created another unique Gothic mysteries!
Title : Hana (ebook short story)
Delirium 1.5
Author : Lauren Oliver
I finished reading the short story last week. Though, it was just a short story, it took me a week to finish this since I have tasks to do. *sigh* But on the bright side, I've finished it! *yey!*
It tell about the point of view of Hana, Lena's bestfriend. I've got more ideas of the place wherein the uncureds gather. By the way, I imagine it, it's full of innocent teenagers that doesn't care about anything else except one thing; Freedom. I also feel that I was a reading the story of a girl that is just infatuated by some random guy. Maybe, if falling in love would be a disease, might was well experience it for the sense of curiosity. I also knew that it's not all about the "sparks" and "butterflies in the stomach" that makes you fall in love, it's all plain infatuation.
Since, I've finished reading the short story, I can now proceed to "Pandemonium" woohoo!!
Title : Delirium#1
Author : Lauren Oliver
I read this last year, i was just searching for a new book to read and then I saw this title. Delirium. My first thought was, "was that a major sickness?" I read the synopsis and it was so interesting! It is a dystopian story wherein Love is declared as a disease. Intriguing, right?
Who would have thought that in the future, they will have a cure on heartaches? Isn't that great?
As I was reading the book, I come to realize that it's really true that it may be a disease. It clearly gives a distinct evidences of falling in love, and I realized that it slowly controls your mind and heart. Lena has a fierce will and determination to be cured which makes me feel that, maybe its better that way. Because who wanted to be hurt by someone they dearly love? Then Alex came and it all feels like the opposite. Falling in love is wonderful. It will also make you think that it was all worth it. Feeling it. Devouring it. Falling for it. All at the same person, it feels great. I think it all falls on the innocence of the people that makes them feel that love is a disease.
Title : Chain Reaction
Author : Simone Elkeles
And here it comes, the third and last book of the Fuentes' story. Chain Reaction. Well, obviously it's about the youngest Fuentes, Luis. An aspiring astronaut. Flirtatious grin. Great spiky hair. OMG. How did Simone Elkeles do that?!? It was totally great!
The sequel continues on the wedding day of Alex and Brittany, and by the way my imagination works while i was reading it, it's mesmerizing. It was funny how Luis fallen in love with Nikki (the female protagonist). He sees her as an angel. It's romantic!
It sure gives a unique story of the struggles of Luis and Nikki and how they deal with it. I mean, when you really have that painful past like Nikki, and deep family secret you realized like Luis, falling in love and trusting one another could be a hard task. But this story can definitely make readers know that it's all worth the risk. And I totally loved it. It was a great ending indeed!
I hope there would be just some idea that Simone Elkeles could make another story about the son's or daughters of the Fuentes brothers.
