Is death the end . . . or only the beginning?
Ethan Wate always dreamed of leaving the stifling Southern town of Gatlin.
But he never dreamt that finding love with Lena Duchannes would drive him away. Lena is a Caster girl whose supernatural powers unveiled a secretive and cursed side of Gatlin, so powerful it forced him to make a terrible sacrifice.
Now Ethan must find a way to return to Lena - and Gatlin - as she vows to do whatever it takes to get him back. Even if it means trusting old enemies or risking their loved ones' lives.
Can Ethan and Lena rewrite their fate and their spellbinding love story in this stunning finale to the Beautiful Creatures series?

The moment I saw the Beautiful Creatures, I've never been more curious about a book series than this. Set in a Gothic county full of mysteries and underground places, it is really enticing to read. I wasn't tired to see what will happen in every series that Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl releases. They can keep the readers feel more intense and excited with every revelation and changes of the Claiming Moon. Especially Ethan and Lena, these two characters showed deep affection, courage, and determination to change the Mortal and Caster World to maintain balance of it. It was like a surreal adventure/quest as I keep on reading this.
Now at this finale, Beautiful Redemption steps on a higher stairs of thrilling and enticing events. It gives such a spine-tingling revelations of Mortal and Caster World especially the sole reason of Ethan's sacrifice for the Order. Every pages keeps me on looking forward for more of the characters. The setting takes me into another world for the Dead whether they are Mortal or Casters, all of them are connected into same world. Switching from the world of the Living and Dead is what I love the most from this. It is like having a different rides but the feeling still stays in there. Ethan being in Underworld and Lena on the other side, every chapter makes it more good to read. It feels like my eyes are craving for more.
Ethan became stronger and determined to come back for Lena that he is willing to do anything The Greats will say. He never hesitates on making his decision when it comes to Lena, his friends and his family. It deeply shows how much he value all the people that he treasures. Besides he was never meant to be on that situation from the beginning. Lena on the other hand, she never lose her faith that Ethan will come back to her. A love that binds them until the end. It's such a wonderful thing. She never lose hope on everything when it comes to Ethan. The two of them works together for one cause, to unite with each other again.
Watching Ethan cross different worlds is one of the greatest thing that I love on this book. The River Master. Xavier. The labyrinth. It all feels so challenging. I felt that I was with Ethan thinking how can he pass on every obstacle that he faces. Ethan definitely knows how to make a move and cross beyond it with all of his will.
At the end of it, I almost cried when there is a sacrifice that needs to be done in order for Ethan to come back. (I don't want to spoil anything, so...) But it all ends well and it creates a new perspective of sacrifice and love.
