it's almost

time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.

Shatter Me leaves all of us with a precarious situation. I don't know how can Juliette survive the threat of Warner and his father. I don't know what are the further details can she climb up from her problems. It just ended up from a very deep cliffhanger. I just wait and stare until February will come and knock down all my senses.

It all continues after Juliette managed to escape from Warner leading her and Adam to the Omega Point. The second book gives a fire with all the emotions of every characters. Juliette became fierce and strong for the sake of everyone the moment she realized how their world is already destroyed. She became more full aware how her life would might lead if she didn't even fight for the people that she's been dying to protect. Tahereh Mafi never fails to describe on how Juliette feels with the world. The catastrophe that might lead within their lives until the blissfulness of being alive and strong inspite all of their dilemma that they are all facing. It was all perfectly made for the readers who would like to feel how the characters can react with every drastic measures in life.

Adam on the other hand, my admiration with him suddenly expanded. I never knew that reading the thoughts of him could almost make me cry. He's such a warm man. Adam always stand everything and anything just to be with Juliette. His heart is already settled for her. I loved him because of that. Everytime he is broken, I also feel broken inside and out. The way that Tahereh Mafi describes a crumpled heart of a man will definitely moved you into sadness. I adore how he endure his feelings and the way he wanted to protect Juliette even if it costs his life.

Warner or should I say Aaron, become more decisive with his decision. It all comes down on being with Juliet. Touching her, feeling her heartbeat, and protecting her at all cost. His mind is unwavering even if it means that he will betray his father. A young man that is created ready to withstand anything to defend the one he loves. There is nothing more satisfying than that. I became more crazy and head-over-heels with this man. Tahereh Mafi wrote more about how fascinating a man can be when they are in love.

Another thing I never expected that there will be some part about Castle and Kenji. Yes, it feels very mysterious on how they've known each other, but I never thought that reading their back-stories are such a magnificent part to read.  If there is one thing that I wanted to read over and over aside from Chapter 62, it will be the chapter how Castle told them how he met Kenji.

Above all, Unravel Me takes you into such an extravagant and unexpected setting. It will keep you all night holding the book until reach the very end. The words can make you feel like you were part of the book, that somehow, you also realized that there is something wrong with our world and you need to take part on standing a chance to change it.
