Synopsis :
Amy Turner's about to
graduate from high school and all she wants is a job. Actually, all she
wants is to find a way to pay for college. Amy certainly isn't looking
for love when she answers an ad to baby-sit a boy-she just needs the
cash. But the job has a catch: The boy is blind...and he's her age.
Tristan Edmund may be hot, but he doesn't want Amy's help. Or so he thinks. After being blinded in a horse show-jumping competition, Tristan spends his days in the dark, refusing to accept his disability. Much to his annoyance, Amy bursts into his life and drags him into the light. But just as the two begin to see something in each other, Tristan's beautiful ex-girlfriend shows up. Will the temptation be too much, or will Tristan choose the girl who really sees him?

I liked the idea of a blind guy slowly making its way to a path he doesn't even know. Although the character of Tristan was snobbish at first, I find it reasonable to lose something that is essentially important to any humans. What seems tragical even more for such a young guy like him is also feeling betrayed with the people around him. Even feeling being used because of his money and fame. Well it actually leads into tragedy once you knew the true intentions of people around you once you gave them the true glimpse of your personality.
Within His Eyes, I see gradually how Tristan realizes how important it is to have true people around him. People who can accept him with all his flaws. And I liked the character of Amy as the another protagonist who whole-heartedly accepted Tristan inspite his flaws.
I feel that's another unique part within this book, it is how the reader can feel how dark and strange it was once your eyesight was gone and simply be accepted and also be loved by someone. But it didn't went well at first, which was kind of make it more good, because things doesn't go easily with a relationship. But I liked their dog-cat argument everytime. Both of the characters,as I see have reasonable claims on their part.
Overall, His Eyes is oozing with surprises and butterflies. The characters are driven with their feelings in which I dearly adore. If you're thinking of having a quick to read and romantic book, you better get a hold of this one.
