The Conspiration of the Universe Blog Tour

This #POPFICBLOGTOUR is hosted by Summit Books, in which from Dec 11 - 17 we are scheduled to post our thoughts to Kenneth Olanday's The Conspiration of the Universe. I was intrigued by this one because it reminds me of the movie Ruby Sparks. The character from the book came into reality and the consequences of facing the end and reality is a really sad feeling to confront. So I grab my chance to read this one to see how the story will have its plot twist and how will the characters act upon it.

Check out below my book review, I hope you'll like it!

This is the first Pop Fiction book that I've read (to be honest) and it was a great one. The book started with a heartbreak and it was a typical breakup line and conflicts that relationships usually faces. In my mind, Luke is the introvert type of guy and his best friend Matt is the extrovert one. Luke and Matt's friendship is one the main element that I loved on this book.

The Conspiration of the Universe started and ended with a heartbreak. Luke’s first love, Sydney, it displays an innocent kind of love. A sweet, tender and joyful love that you’ll feel then it ends with an oblivion. It was a heartbreak, of course, but as I look into it, the pain isn’t that deep. It was a short pain, as I see it.

When Eureka came into Luke’s life, it is a kind of love that will give its readers a lot of surprise and thrill. A book surprise to be precise. Seeing your favorite character into reality isn’t something that typically happens to every reader in the world. Heck, it could be one of the wonders of the world if that would really happen. That is why I was intrigued to read this book, I wanted to see how the characters will act and move with the consequences of facing the ‘end’ and the reality.

The book delivered a good plot and straight to the point plot twist. What will gonna happen to Luke once he finishes the end of the book? What will happen of Eureka finds out the truth, that she’s just an author’s creation? As the plot thickens, Luke and Eureka still defied the odds and fall in love. Seeing both characters fall for each other is one of the cutest thing, another part that is Matt’s character. That guy really knows how to sway the hearts of those love birds. Matt is Luke’s destined perfect wingman. He’s also the reason why the story has a great amount of loyalty and friendship.

I love Eureka’s bravery to face her dreams, even when people belittle her. She still believes that achieving your dreams is one of the essential things that a person should attain. Seeing Luke supporting her, it is just one of the amazing things that you’ll love in this book. That man knows how to encourage the girl of her (literal) dreams.

But one of the parts that I love on the Conspiration of the Universe is that it displayed a selfless act of love. It showed heartbreak, acceptance and moving on all at once.
