"I look for the qualities that aren't always apparent at first", he said. "The ones that define part of who we are and how we really feel deep down. I try to look below the surface."

First off, I'd really want to tackle hug Pinoy Book Tours, National Bookstore and Scholastic for giving me a review copy of Vendetta. This is definitely one of my highlights when I read this for the love month of February. You guys have no idea how happy I am right now.
Everytime I read a book leading onto notorious guys, it never fails to amaze me how several authors were able to make it look like they were all unique starting with their guts up to its never-ending explanation of the blood rules and the way they were born to be like that. It was beautiful, from the way they accentuate the details of their family down until the very next person.

If you've read Simone Elkeles' Perfect Chemistry and Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, I am pretty sure you'll want to read Vendetta. Picture it with a dash of bad boys coming into town and suddenly one of them falls in love with a girl, and not just a simple girl, a girl who's family is one of the reason why the story came out as whirlwind of darkness and lies. The plot wasn't as plain as it looks like, to be frank, I was surprised how the author played around with the different characters. From describing their image, personalities down with their emotions, it was simply engaging. The author didn't pressed too much with the details of their desire with a chase rather she made it look immensely fascinating. Because although the Priestly *Falcone* Brothers were surfaced with reticence, slowly these characters unraveled the covers so beautifully. *I don't know how many times I said their beautiful, but to me they are totally beautiful!*

The setting of the story is a bit limited for me, given that it was only set on a town. But in some cases, I loved how it made the story made it looks like the certain places were like somehow became a piece of who they really are. The diner was simple yet universal when it comes to its appearance. Especially the house of Priestly *Falcone* Brothers, from the materializations up to its arrangement, it is definitely one of the things that I ultimately love on this book. I actually felt so jealous these characters were able to live in a house like that. It is a mesmerizing place to live in, you'll never knew what hides inside that house.

One of the surprising elements of Vendetta is out of revealing the reckless truth, the way they believe to follow the rules from the start, is enchanting. Also, I am looking forward for a love triangle to born on the next book to come. Although the characters were holding back their feeling on the beginning, I loved how the author was able to let them unleash their feelings.

Full of forbidden love and lies - Vendetta entertained me a lot. It keep me a good company with a group of dangerous yet undeniably perfect guys to fall in love with. In all possible way, I totally wanted to see Catherine Doyle and hug her so tight because she exceptionally made an amazing art of Vendetta.
