Every Day
Title : Every Day
Author : David Levithan
In his New York Times bestselling novel, David Levithan introduces readers to what Entertainment Weekly calls a "wise, wildly unique" love story about A, a teen who wakes up every morning in a different body, living a different life.
Every day a different body. Every day a different life. Every day in love with the same girl.
There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere.
It’s all fine until the morning that A wakes up in the body of Justin and meets Justin's girlfriend, Rhiannon. From that moment, the rules by which A has been living no longer apply. Because finally A has found someone he wants to be with—day in, day out, day after day.
With his new novel, David Levithan, bestselling co-author of Will Grayson, Will Grayson, and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, has pushed himself to new creative heights. He has written a captivating story that will fascinate readers as they begin to comprehend the complexities of life and love in A’s world, as A and Rhiannon seek to discover if you can truly love someone who is destined to change every day

This book will change your perception of love! It will definitely make you realize that there is something more between fate, destiny and even tragedy. David Levithan just made an enormous story of extraordinary love that will make you feel very overwhelmed. It was all surreal. The kind of love that stays but still goes on everyday, enduring the emotions of waking up with another body and worse of it, to think that A does not have a body of its own, it was dreadful and hurtful for me. I keep on thinking that it is very hard because you can't have a long term commitment to anyone because everything is temporary and time is only borrowed. Can you imagine that? I would definitely cry if that would happen to me.
As A narrates the body that he's gotten into, I came to realize how every personality shows beyond their looks. Whether the body is a girl, boy, lesbian or gay, A shows no comparison to any one of them. He is beyond to everything that he sees and feels. And that's what I mainly love on this story, it doesn't discriminates other genders, it welcomes you to another emotions of every people.
Rhiannon, on the other hand, I find her very confusing. There is a point where she realizes that she's deeply in love with A, then the next she just wanted to stop. But then I guess from the situation of Rhiannon, being in love with a person that changes body everyday, well that somehow justify the means.
Getting closer and closer to the story, I also felt the sadness and excitement of A. Everytime he felt that there might be some chance that he could stay forever in one body and be with Rhiannon forever. A part of me feels that this kind of love David Levithan created, it is one of a kind an heartwarming that will make you feel the indifferences of love and accepting it.
