Musing Mondays #1
Musings Monday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week… • Describe one of your reading habits. • Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s). • Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.
Me :
My reading habits??? hmmm...this could be a lot awkward and common because my "imagination" can't blend in so well if I am not reading on my FAVORITE spot on my bed. SERIOUSLY. There is some kind of magic within that spot that makes me turn the page more and more.
I recently bought Sula by Toni Morrison. I'm not yet familiar on that book, but when I saw that the vlogbrothers specifically John Green recommended it, I didn't hesitate on buying that book. He said that If we liked The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, we should probably grab that book.
I just started reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. I got as a gift from our Book Bloggers Christmas Party. I wanted to jump out on joy when I received that. Though this is the first book that I will read from her, I hope that this book will give me a unique and whole lot more mystery and you know..romance. hahaha!!

I'm not familiar with either book. But isn't it nice to receive a book as a gift that you really wanted. I hope you enjoy both your books.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is. :)
DeleteI want to read something by Toni Morrison...I don't know why I haven't yet...but she is on my list. I'd probably read Beloved first.
